The first posting

I find myself finally trying to be a writer.  

I am trying to assembly my website.(foleywrites.com Coming Soon). I also need to remain focused on writing. Anything is better than nothing. So I am starting with the most cliché thing on the Internet. The Blog.

I have not been doing a lot of writing lately. I do not want to dwell on that. All I am going to say is that I have been very successful in finding out, “What does not work.” And the list is bit longer than you would suspect. Some of the items on this list were surprising too. The other “challenge” is anything that is advertised as being “Easy to install” is lying to me. Big time! Murphy was right design something a moron can use. And only a moron would use it. I will not say which website design software is giving me a headache.

This is my other thought at the moment. Sometimes I know the truth. There are times I need to read or hear this truth from an outside source. Especially the ones that do not know me personally. Such is the case with my attempts at creative endeavors. But here is an article that got me thinking.

How to be Creative 

So this is my Blog. And I being the force behind it is the only real difference. Writing something is better than nothing. And it can always be rewritten if necessary. For better. For worse. Here I go. And I can write about anything.As Groucho Marx once said, ”Well, I hardly know where to begin. I hardly know when to stop, either; just give me a few drinks and see for yourself.”
