My Global Warning Theory

To be honest, I do not really believe in global warming. It is most likely a cyclical event. I just do not think the “science” is really there to make an accurate claim. As of right now. The reports seem to be too much in the league of “Chicken Little.” The other problem is any person claiming to be the “Weatherman” on TV. They cannot predict the weather with that much accuracy 2-3 days in advance. So any one claiming to know the weather in 20-50 years is full of shit. In the prediction department, make the “baby steps” first. I am not zealot on my unpopular opinion. It is open to change once the facts are better known.

That being said. Today, I find myself thinking there may be something to global warming. However, this idea came from a different source. No not from a scientist. Talk radio has made me believe in global warming. They were not discussing it at all. Today’s topic is pretty much the same as yesterday’s topic. It is pretty much the bases for any discussion. The economy sucks. This leader sucks. That leader sucks. My football team sucks. The food sucks. Kids these days suck. It is simple. THE WORLD IS GOING TO HELL!!!! Especially now. As we all know the “Bad things” happening today are only because of today’s modern society. Nothing bad has ever happened before. But then again isn’t a History Book nothing but a series of “going to Hell” moments? Hell is making it warmer on this planet. We are going to Hell. Hell is where the real “heat” is. So things are warming up just to get us prepared. So stock up on the suntan lotion. And don’t forget to drink plenty of fluids. Until then I will see you at the bar. I hear there are plenty of fluids available there.

Simpsons Movie Scene (Do not read if you have not seen the movie)

There is a scene that I thinks sums up the actions of society when the real “shit hits the fan.” In the movie, it is announced that the town of Springfield is just mere moments from being destroyed. Everybody loses it. The drunks of Moe’s Bar go running into church. And all the church members go running into Moe’s Bar. After many years of watching the TV show I never realized that they were right next to each other.

So in the end it comes to the “Shit! I need to repent!” and the “Fuck! I’m going to need a drink for this!”
