I know many of latest postings have been more or less about my own personal “headspace”. But I now realize it is just best to go with it and get those things out there. There are ideas that time to “incubate”. And there are ideas that given too much time will “fester”. In that case, nothing good will come out it.
I was watching TV late last night. I was watching an episode of Louie. I have to say Louis CK’s show is one of the best almost “existential” shows ever on. I was watching an episode where he had to perform at a casino where it was less than ideal for him to work. He was really frustrated by this room and it causes him to tell the management that he quits. Later on he meets up with Joan Rivers who is performing in another part of the casino. She has a talks about how it does not matter about the “room” because there will always be “ups and downs.”
I know I have a lot of a different tangents. But I like trying to figure out “how and why” those different tangents can be almost similiar in their underlining message.
I was also reminded about the hardships of circumstances from another movie. Warrior the story of two distant brothers who have to fight each other in the finale of mixed martial arts championship. The story is not about them battling each other. It is the “circumstances” they were in that was the “enemy”. And this story was more of a tale of “redemption and forgiveness” in spite of it all.
I also like the song used for the final fight scene titled About Today by The Nationals.
I have also been listening to complete movie soundtrack when I am sitting in the yard at night trying to unwind.
